Transferring…
…at MacArthur BART.
I don’t travel around BART very much. I make my roughly 13-minute, 9-mile trip between the Richmond and Berkeley stations twice-a-day, 230 days-a-year, and these two stations account for 99% of my BART travel. Of the 43 stations in the BART system, I’ve actually set foot (i.e. boarded or de-boarded a train) in only 12 of them.
Today, circumstances took me out of my normal BART comfort zone and to the MacArthur station in Oakland, where I waited to transfer to a San Francisco-bound train.
Should you ever need to use one, there is an emergency exit at the south end of the MacArthur BART platform.
Stay safe, BART riders.
