Lost Cure-all
The forces of nature this spring seem to have launched an all-out attack on my upper respiratory system by unleashing invisible waves of pollen, spores, and other microscopic particles solely designed to make my sinuses uncontrollably itch. In search of relief, I have dug through the contents of our most recent Hanso Foundation supply drop, and have begun taking this:
The designation on the label is the same as for the vaccine that so many Lost island residents (Desmond, Clair, Aaron) have been taking, so I decided to give it a try. It seems to work, and I can now go into the back yard without collapsing in a fit of sneezing. I do hear indistinct whispering voices from time to time, though, but it’s definitely a step up from the runny nose and watery eyes.
